When Lauren first contacted me she told me how much she would love for me to capture her wedding since she had so many “cool” stuff planned for her day. The only thing we did not count on was rain on that day, but Lauren and Chris were both real troopers. Instead of being bummed out about all the change in plans, they were out to enjoy their celebration, and they did big time. I was so happy for this special couple, Lauren was a spectacular bride! Not only beautiful on the outside, but she is such a positive and happy person, she brings light to Chris’s life. Their relationship is full of love, commitment and passion! My kind of couple Hopefully I will get to see a lot more of them in the future.
Michelle was one happy bride! She couldn’t stop smiling and laughing all day, she was a joy to be around. I have seen lots of brides, and Michelle’s energy really stood out!. During the reception she did not stop dancing for one second! You could just see Joe smitten with her, and watching her every move (the few moments he wasn’t dancing also). Even though they have been together for 8 years they looked and behaved like newlyweds all full of excitement and hope. Sweet couple!
Lindsay and Moody had a posh event planned out from beginning to end and everything turned out just perfect for them. Everything started with the fairy tale proposal Moody planned for Lindsay. He had many players involved and did a tremendous amount of planning to pull off that unforgettable day. Lindsay had just started her new job and it was the day before her 30th Birthday. There were gifts waiting for her in the office with a note saying, “tonight we celebrate.” Naturally, she thought they were celebrating her Birthday, so she didn’t have a clue! That night he took her in front of the place they decided to date, got down on one knee, and proposed. After the emotional YES, they had dinner and Lindsay found out Moody had flown her parents from Ohio to New York City to celebrate their engagement, so the next day there was an amazing 30th Birthday party with all of Lindsay’s close friends and family. Way to go Moody! I think this speaks volumes on how much this couple cares for each other and how special their relationship is. Hopefully they will keep taking care of each other for decades to come. Congratulations!
I always like to comment on how in love the couple looked, and how sweet they are together but in this case I will just transcribe the speech Lee did at the reception. It took Amanda by surprised and I think it shows how deep his love is:; needless to say it brought tears to everyone’s eyes, including mine! “The best way to put it is that Amanda brought color to my life… and texture. And I want to thank you for that Amanda, it is the greatest gift anyone has given to me. And she looks beautiful today. Two dresses. Three international re-locations. Two continents. Eight years and we are finally here tonight. Raise your glasses to this toast, for Amanda…”
